    OT: World Cup

    Fascinating matchups.

Who are you rooting for? Who do think will take it?

Never watched a full game of soccer in my life. And I even love every other sport more or less.

Sad for Mexico and I cannot stand Neymar. I'm really at a loss who to root for now.

Hmm, it's been a bit of a head scratching WC, that Russian v Spain game was a downer, Spain plays a much more beautiful game and more skillful, but as they say about beauty...... My take on the quarters is Uruguay, Belgium, Croatia and Columbia will win. Going on a limb on the Belgium vs Brazil, but you've been watching them play they are surprising, creative, fast and young...My Dutch brother-en didn't make it this time around so I have no genes in the game....Cheers

    I'd rather watch paint dry.

First cup in which I watched no game. If France makes it to the finals, then maybe I will.

Whenever I have seen a clip of someone flopping in Soccer, it reminds me of this:

I'm still rootin' for Greg Minaar. Hopefully he'll be back from that fractured arm by the next round.

I don't any specific rooting interests but there's been some damn entertaining games so far. 2 shootouts plus a crazy Belgium-Japan game.

    That COL/ENG Match Was Crazy

And England wins and without scoring a goal. MIssed 3 days worth of the 2nd round due to being in the boonies, lack of internet and family interest. Made a shoulder PT appt reason to come home...Good stuff on today as well..

Really satisfying to watch Russia lose. The Croatians were pretty beat up by the end.
The broken are the more evolved. Rejoice.

Agreed, coming in (which they wouldn't have) they were ranked 70th, Croatia #20 and just a better team. Good bye and good riddance, I was 50%/%50 on my calls, wish Columbia made it through but they were fraught with injury. I totally digging Belgium's play and class, creativity, speed and strength, I'm pickin' them to take it all, and that's given they've had a wicked time getting to the finals compared to England..not sure Croatia has enough left to dispatch the English, but I hoping. Oh and yes I;m going on a 2-wheeled outing tomorrow!

Well being British and USA being out of it........Im not sure they will take it all but they will put a beat down on Croatia. The Belgium team is strong but the UK has deeper talent beyond the stars. Thibaut Courtois is a great goalie and getting shots past him will be a chore

I was hoping for Belgium, but France will be great for the finals too. Just keep the headbutting to a minimum this time

The table is set. These two are deserving.

    France for me.

I would not be disappointed with Croatia. They have battled like warriors. I like that game where they had 10 players left and their guys we're dropping like flies at 1 hour 20 mark

Most of the matches I've watched were entertaining. Glad I decided to watch despite the USA not being in it.
