OT: What posters hung on your walls when you were young?

I was trying to think about the posters I had on my walls when I was a young lad but totally drawing a blank. Pretty sure I had this one...and pretty sure my sister had the Yes poster. How about you people...do you remember? Any Black Light posters? I am going to dredge my memory...hoping you guys might help shake the cobwebs.

Farrah's poster always reminds me of one of Steve Martin's funniest bits:

"Boy oh boy, I am so mad at Farrah Fawcett-Majors. She is so conceited. She has never called me once! And after the hours I've spent holding up her poster with one hand! Geez!"

Had a framed Corvette poster ... "Temptations" ... Red Corvette on top ... female beauty in the middle ... bottle of wine on the bottom. Not very good luck with 2 of the 3 items. Survived the Corvette ... quit drinking ... two divorces ! After 60 + years finally found a good woman though !

Btw, I didn't have the Farrah poster but I did have the T-shirt. Went over well with my middle school teachers. I think I wore it to school once.

I had this great Cinelli poster....couldn't find a full pic of it:
OT: What posters hung on your walls when you were young?-269415150_o.jpg

I also had this picture from an advert Specialized ran in the mid 80's which showed a rider's (first person) POV over his handlebars, gloved hands on the grips, looking down this insane rocky moraine high up in the mountains, as if the guy was contemplating riding down into it. The title above the photo was "Never Rule Anything Out". I cannot find any copy of this out on the 'net. Was a great advert.

I got this back in 1992 from a LBS that has long since gone out of business. I first got into mountain biking in 1991, and Juli was my idol. I even got to see her race at the 1993 Rockhopper in Vacaville. It's been in my closet for years due to multiple moves, so I had to set it on my kitchen counter for the picture.

Could be said that most of MTBR not safe for any woman. Mostly man/boys discussing bike equipment and tools in fine even abstract detail. For the male species, "discussing" includes lecturing, disagreeing, arguing, flaming, fighting, insulting, and a lot of testosterone in the air. This is merely an observation: I've ridden with some kick ass strong & athletic women who kicked my sorry ass all to hell, on the trails and on the road, but I never knew a straight woman who had the slightest interest in talking about bike equipment, tools or any of that. When my wife says "pump up my tires" and I ask. "What pressure do you want?" She answers "Seriously? How the f would I know? Just pump them up."

So what's in this for you, if you don't mind my asking?

Don't want to waste bits posting unless somebody really wants to see them, but the main ones I can remember in my room:
    -1990 Acura NSX
    -Cindy Crawford 1993 calendar
    -David Robinson "Tower of Power"
    -Michael Jordan Gatorade ad
    -Gary Payton SI cover
    -FC Kaiserslautern 1991 Bundesliga champs
    -Random Pantera (car) poster
    -Lexus SC400
-A bunch of Calvin & Hobbes Sunday strips, random soccer pics/posters

I remember freshman year in the dorms, one of my roomates plastered the entire room with Reservoir Dogs posters and I had an Ansel Adams.

The concept of "poster on the wall" arrived after I was out of high school.

However, when I was in the Army, after inspection I would decorate the wall near my bunk with posters, a few rock concert poster handbills from gigs my friends were playing in SF, and a publicity still of two professional skaters, twin sisters who were my friends from high school. Guys would say, "No way you know those girls!"
