Need an LBS near San Jose that has Conti X-King or Mount King 26x2.2 PROTECTION tires

I won't bore everyone with the details, but I need one of these by Thurs

I'd rather drive a little and support a local shop than pay for fast shipping from the internet.

REI, surprisingly has a good selection. They are supposedly in stock in Saratoga.

If possible, try to buy the "Black Chili Compound"

Humm, I will have to look at that REI.

(Just FYI, the Protection version only comes in Black Chili)

Rei does not stock protections in 26 only 29. Don't ask me why. Unlikely place I saw protections in the past was sportsbasement; if the usual suspects in terms of lbs don't have it in stock, try calling them up.

I confirm REI does not stock the protection version, but the regular version was there.

I did see the Trail King 2.2 26 at Sports Basement in the protection version. (also the 29er x 2.2)

I have not tried the Trail King as the rolling resistance could be up there higher than I like. I have nothing to confirm this, just the tread pattern assessment. I may give it a go, you never know. I could love it.
