What's the lowdown on this beer?

Rafael gave me a pack when picking up his jersey. Thanks bud!!

I opened one up last night and what da?? It was like drinking methanol. It was a lot of work getting through that bottle. I had to go through 2 bags of chicharon.

Am I just weak? Does anyone like this?

You are not weak! You are strong like OX!

FWIW, I seem to recall having a similar reaction to that stuff. I love meaty beers of all persuasions, but there comes a point of deminishing returns. Sometimes I just want to drink a beer, as opposed to experiencing it.

You are getting soft, I bet you were wearing your pretty jersey with lycra shorts at the Castro on Halloween (not that there is anything wrong with that...)

Ahah. I was thinking the same thing. Here comes Sean with some other high zoot road bike.

I bet that that Plim will be jealous of that T-shirt. It has both his favorite color and favorite beverage in one package.

You know, I tend to agree. I love IPA's -- you should try Speakeasy Big Daddy -- but doubles and barley wines are hit or miss in my book. I like the extra hops/malt, but not the extra alcohol taste.

damn, I must be an acloholic..

I guess its because I came from drinking vodka on the rocks. Double D is one of my favs, but you definately have to take it easy on them. Can't down em like single IPAs. Actually, I was just trying to kick your arse since you always kick ours on the trail

btw, that jersey is just yellow enough for everyone to chase!
