Bring the family Francis. My kids have been going since they were pretty young. If nothing...they like the food (much better then I cook).Probably not the same problem in your house. Also Glen W. really appreciated them one year when Garrett was first to head up for seconds so he could then he easily headed to the spread!

Romp x-mas parties are tops. I've seen many of the notable names in mt. biking give great presenttions--Scot Nichols (Ibis), Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze, Marla Streb, Ruthie Matthes, etc.

Francis is another one to add to the list. I'm in.

Have setup the romp giving works page on Ebay, Donate from 10-100% of Ebay sale(s) to ROMP.
C'mon folks, there must be a helluva lot more than the 3 people who have slotted in on the Giving Works ROMP page offing stuff on Ebay:

eBay Giving Works - About My Nonprofit - ROMP Responsible Organized Mountain Pedalers

Support ROMP, either by joining, attending the Xmas gathering-trail volunteer opp's and/or donating copious amounts of tax deductable moolah to the SF Bay Area MB advo group that covers the South Bay+San Mateo Counties.

I'm sure there are some great stories as mtbr has evolved over the years. I'm also curious whether it's been possible to see trends developing (equipment, riding, etc.) locally, nationally, or globally; and what some of the challenges have been. Looking forward to it!

There were a couple of folks taking pics last night...care to share?

Thanks to Francois and family. I enjoyed hearing the history of mtbr and where it may be going. Chris went a bit crazy with the stem caps so I am sure we will be sporting them when the rain takes a break. Nice to meet your family Gregg. Now put up some pics!
    :)

    Here's some photos:

1)Mtbr home page in 1996 when I used to do the graphic design with clip art!

2)Trail Access. We are not awesome right now but we have an opportunity to rally for our crew and for our kids.

    3) Take bike lessons. The first step is admitting that you don't know how to descend and that opens up the mind and body for learning again.

    4) World domination!
