Snuck in another 2+k this AM before any rains hit. Up Overgrown was highly technical as there were literally 100s of Newts crawling around. Had to pick lines very carefully. Saw a baby Bobcat too.

    Back to work...ugh.

I have 3 more codes for Strava that give you 3 free months. Can probably get some more if needed.

If you want one give me a PM.

Damn, Marco! You're 20K ahead of me for the year already. I'd better start riding more.

For the year 2011, we are in 6th place and still 400,000 behind the leaders. Stay the course! I manged to sneak in 800 feet today. The wife knows something is up though, she was like "tues. isn't a normal day you ride on" and gave me those questioning eyes.

    3rd place. That's awesome.

I won't be much help this week. Not because of the rain, but my training program says that I'm old and its February, so I need to have an easy week. Kind of sucks, but cool that it coincides with rain and SF Beer Week. Extreme beer and cheese tonight, Pliny the Younger tomorrow.

Just joined the MTBR KOM club. Added 19,947 more feet to the total - that should bring us within 17k of 2nd, 18k of first.

Can't remember how much I did in January, I still have to add those.

YTD, we are about 400k behind the leaders. I don't know that everyone has added January rides. I like our chances though.

Great work, everyone! I’m going to try and lay down another 1,700 feet tomorrow… and maybe Thursday and Friday as well… in the rain.

Well, I joined but it had the effect of making us all look less efficient. I'll try to ride more, I promise!

Well, good news team. I spoke with Strava and there was indeed a hiccup in the system. My January rides were not being counted. They have said a fix is on the way which, according to my calculations, should give us another 40,000+ ft of climbing for the tally. (January was a fine month). Hope this helps as work, rain, and family may make riding a wee bit of a challenge over the next couple of weeks. Sucks...right when you start getting in great shape, something always comes along and puts you back down in catch up mode.

    Party on!

Matt, you need to come to my house Sunday and drink some Belgian on Sunday. I need to bribe you too for the altitude gained per second challenge. (rate of climb)

No can do. It's our postponed Valentines day celebration on Sunday. We'll be drinking fancy napa wine at my buddy's winery Sunday (http://www.fontanellawinery.com) while grandma and grandpa watch junior.

It's telling you, you should be out riding instead of playing on the computer, and at the same time its secretly changing this country over to the metric system one user at a time.

I joined the team and the challenge last night. As soon as I can round up the entry fee I will get a subscription and upload my January rides. About half of my rides over then next 11 weeks will be on the trainer, but the rest of the time I will be climbing on the mtb.

Anyone else need any codes for 3 free months?

Friend said he could get more if needed.
