    MTB mural/ Muni tunnel

While watching the news coverage of the knucklehead who drove his car into the Muni tunnel in SF this morning there were several shots that included a mural on a building adjacent to the tunnel entrance. I think maybe it's a Safeway grocery store. The painting depicts someone riding their bike and leaving a track on a beach over looking the ocean. It's pretty cool and may warrant a visit when next I visit The City. Does anyone know; is this 'just' a mural or is there some really cool back story to it?

    If I recall correctly

The SF Bike Coalition made it happen when that street behind the Safeway was converted to public tranpo/bikes only

Yup, seen it many times. North side of the Safeway at Church and Duboce. The cool part is how the tire print turns into a snake. I always thought that was kinda cool.
