    Moving to Santa Rosa

Moving to Santa Rosa in a few months and looking to find some good MTBing. Sounds like Annadel is good but what about Hood mountain and Sugarloaf ridge.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Annadel is the best by far. Hood and Sugarloaf have trails, but compared to Annadel, it's a lot of work for not as much fun.

I'd say the next best thing in the area is Boggs, about an hour away, and Tamarancho/China camp in Marin.

Take a look into my Facebook group NorCal Gravity we do rides and set up shuttles around the area. I've personally go to hood and rarely sugarloaf, and would be down for you to tag along.

THIS! Exactly. Early welcome to Santa Rosa. Check out our Annadel Mountain Bike Group Meetup website for group rides that include Annadel, Moab, etc.....

Thank you everyone! This has been very helpful.
I ride a Cannondale Scalpel and lived in Park City Utah for 12 years and now we are on the east coast in NH. I can't wait to ride in the Bay area!!!

Welcome! You're going to so happy you moved to Sonoma County and not Modesto. I grew up there and it's a good place to live and close to lots of cool stuff.

Forget San Jose - nothing to see there. You'll want to hit Skeggs and Demo (both in the Santa Cruz Mountains).
