    Mi-Wuk Village California

My buddy just bought a cabin up in Mi-wuk Village in Tuolumne County. Any good trails around there?

It looks like there are some trails close by the Mi-Wuk area. Go to this website, the Groveland Trailheads, They are doing some good things in this region.

Yes. There is good riding in Pinecrest. Also try Stanislaus River Trail, Lyons Lake, Pinball, Red Hills & New Melones.

And if you're willing to drive a bit south on J59, you can hit Exchecquer Mountain Bike Park (@ Lake McClure).

There is a nice little loop from 108 down to Lyons Reservoir mix of Single track and logging pg&e roads and then single track back up from dam. There is a group of people cutting track up there and are always looking for some trail building help.

It's fun. There are 3 main runs off the central hill: "Down and Out" (fast and flow-y with lots of jumps), "Flying Squirrel" (fast and kinda technical), and "Gnarnia" (basically a DH trail). There are also a few other mellow ST trails. It's not a huge park, but it's definitely the best mountain bike riding in the central valley imo.

Definitely not neglected. They're even building a new trail as we speak.

Was just there on Sunday. It was sick as hell! Easy climb, with three badass trails to rip down. They're working on a fourth.

Tons of camping, running water, showers, etc. $8 for parking.
