So much fun! Can't wait to go back this year! I had the worst bonk of my life on Alpine last year (puking, heat exhaustion, shaking) can't wait to not have that happen and shred even harder! Randy puts on a truly awesome event!

I'm returning for the August MBO. Driving up from Santa Cruz early on the Thursday before. I'll be on a black Mojo HD with a horse mask.

Damn, FC. You sure pick handsome fellows to be in the pictures you post.

Oh, for those wondering, I'll put in my unpaid-endorsement that MBO is lots of fun.

I'm headed up to MBO next week with a friend here from the Sac area. I went last year and absolutely LOVED it. I wasn't planning on going this year since my wife and I just had our first child and we're a bit tight on fundage. But MTBR came through and I won the MBO contest they had on here a few months ago and I got a free ticket. Made my summer!!!

Went August last year signed up immediately after for August this year. The best $400 you'll ever spend. 3 days of great trails and beautiful scenery. All meals included and nightly beer garden. Also the best raffle ever on the last night! Randy really puts on a great event. Coming from the Bay area it is refreshing to see a community embracing MTB'ers. The whole town gets involved and really appreciates the business.

If your on the fence do it!!!

Non paid endorsement, just a very satisfied customer.

Nice post scootdagss... MBO is a great event. It's been about 5 yrs for me but the fun factor has not been forgotten. Went two years in a row. All good...people, guides, food, and beer.

We will be heading there on Thursday and will stay in Oregon for full 10 days.

Can someone please recommend trails, shuttle service and accommodation for Bend as we will be heading there after MBO. I would really appreciate GPS tracks of your favorite ride if you don't mind sharing for Oakridge and Bend. Thanks!

I'd check out Ashland. it's right on the Oregon cali boarder. nice way to break up the drive if coming from CA. Ashland mountain adventures Bill and sue are great people and Ashland is a really cool town.

never been to bend so can't compare.
