    Low siding criterium crash- ouch!

    This must have hurt pretty badly.

    I lowsided at Thunderhill at 110mph on my SV650. But that was in full leathers, not lycra - and it was into the kitty litter.

    That looks like it will sting for awhile.

    I like how all the other sheep just follow that dude into the barriers. Did they not realize that their fearless leader had no handling skills?

    It's not like you have a choice in crit racing, you either ride at the front and pick the line, ride in the pack and ride the line you're given, or you're off the back.

    It is not for everybody, and is by far the scariest thing I've ever done on a bike. However, as crit crashes go that was fairly tame. The "best" crit crashes I've seen have been when somebody has a pedal strike on an inside corner, instantly high sides and wipes out a fair portion of the pack.
