Hey Cobb, I saw some pics floating around about a mini bike park a little while back in Santa Cruz area called Cobb's course (or something along those lines)

    Is it just coincidence?

I can't help but notice you ride just about everyday. I'm sure you like your bike, but if you don't mind, any positives or negatives you'd like to share about it? Also, do you have a Strava?

Oh c'mon Captain, you can join in also on this. No discriminating here.
Seriously though, I just couldn't help but notice that he rides damn near every day. I got kinda curious about his bike and real world thoughts.

I bought my 2010 rip9 without riding it or and without even riding a 29er. This bike was bought on reviews primarily from Mtbr. Not a very smart way to purchase a high end mtb. That being said, I got lucky. This bike exceeded all my expectations. It instantly made be better and more confident rider. From cornering and how far you can lay it down to jumps. Yep I can't actually hit a few jumps with Ripper. It's seems to just fly and land perfect. I used to avoid every jump with old fs 6er bike. And this bike just begs you to go faster. Lots of positives about this bike and the only negative is that this bike makes everything easier so I don't get as much of a workout, unless I ride more. Maybe that's not a negative.
As far as strava. No, but I just signed up for an account. I'm not sure if it will work because of poor reception on my local trails

Thanks, I was hoping to find more information on it. That's one of those things where "I know him through him" but it's through two people, not just one.

Misfortune, that backyard track is gone

The little hitter continues to play ball but today, our riding season starts. He is much heavier now but stronger too.
