We have not done the Visitorís Center loop for awhile and we have not done the Loafer Horseshoe loop for awhile. Might I suggest we do the Visitor Center tomorrow evening and consider loafer Creek area for Monday?

Letís meet at the parking lot just above the restrooms at the top of the Dam and head up to the Visitor Center, down the long way to the Marina, take the high route to the Saddle Dam and than back via the lower trail and a mini Grand Canyon (if not underwater) back to the Marina. Last but certainly not least letís do the Man Way up and back.

See you at 6 pm tomorrow.

Sunday coming out of Potters, Lots of squirrels on the trail that day but they all scooted off, except for the last one. He just sat there on the side of the trail watching me approach, then at the last possible moment he darted across the trail and under my front wheel. Hit the frame and my leg, then finally took off back the way he came. Great fun!

Howz about meet at the parking lot above the restrooms at the top of the Dam? We can try a new route possibly down the Brad Freeman trail on this side of the river then cut up the Dan Bebe, cross the road and climb back up past the green pipe to the top of the Dam.

See you at 6 pm on Thursday evening.

Letís meet at the parking area just above the restrooms at the top of the Dam tomorrow at 6 PM. Plan is to ride down the Brad Freeman trail, a short way along the flume and on over to Garyís crossing, back out and up, cross the road and ride up past the green pipe. Lots of down hill to start and lots of uphill to finish.

    See you tomorrow.

Letís meet at the parking above the restrooms at the top of the Dam tomorrow at 6 PM.

Ride down the face of the Dam and down the river, we can do Garyís crossing or opt for a shorter ride and turn up and cross the road and climb the horse trail.

How about the ride we talked about Thursday, leave from lot across from Green Line, out to Spencer and down the other side, then take the Trail of the Unknown.
All we can do is try it.

Here is the scoop. Last week when we came down Sycamore Hill Jim spotted a new trail that went off to the left, no one knew where it went. So being the Commander and Chief that he is Jim said letís ride it! See you at the parking lot across from Green Line Cycle tomorrow at 6 PM.

    question about North Fork:
I thought from the maps that it is a simple out and back, but ~3 miles or so after Cut Across I ran into a split in the trail. Turned around and didn't explore further, but where do the two forks lead? Is there an updated map that shows the latest additions?

    North Fork

Not sure about a map update, they have been working on the trail. I have not been out to the end for awhile but I hear it is all the way through to the camp.

Not sure where you hit the split I assume it was a sharp right turn that crossed a rocky creek bed that is dry right now. That is where you can go straight or make the 108 degree right. Make the right, cross the dry rocky creek bed and continue on I suspect it is another 6 or 7 miles.
