Take no prisoners Saturday Alex!!! You could have done the 20/40 with the 40 also including the descent back to that start. You're one fast bastard!

    B. Climber comes roaring back

Darcio is in with 19.55 / 36.47 for a sub 20/40 combo. He says tell Marco I'm coming for him. He is gonna challenge you to the lolly pop loop he says.

Did everyone quit this one? Sub 25/50 only and ... barely ! Hopefully I can post up a sub 40 pretty soon but today's effort was mighty weak! 24:46 tree with sub 48 to the top. Dang ! Kennedy 20/40 2012 edition-1229121219a.jpg

Perhaps with a GEARED bike you might get closer to a 20/40.

Maybe the 20t cog will be just right for timed runs but the fastest runs I did on the 20/40 were @ 32x19 on the Lynskey. I was all wound up on making spec on that thread and never knew how hard a sub 20 was gonna be.

    Lilysdad hits it

21:16 tree and 39:21 to the top. He did it on the Orbea at a normal ... for him pace. Nice work! I handed him the stopwatch on the trail last week and bullied him into giving it a shot.

Finally tried my "20/40/10/20" Challenge today. under 20 to the tree, under 40 to the top, under 10 on the 3 walls, and under 20 on dogmeat. Success.

I'd be more impressed if it was me...alright, I guess I am still impressed. Was that a no-dab Dogmeat run?

Just did this today in flats with my 29er, uuuuugh.

I had to dab at the wall. Anytime you want to suffer, let me know. A few guys who were riding with me, with Kennedy as their hometurf, schooled me on how fast you can really get up it. I'll do it with a flat too. I had a flat all 7 miles up (and down); it hurt extra gud.

Just impressive. You should crash more often, as it seems that you bounce back with bionic/inhuman powers every time.

    Bump

I want that sub 40 before the end of the month! Todays was not really too bad with a 22:27 tree and the 41:18 to the top. Who's gonna go get some PMPG ? Name: 0509131420.jpg

But you’ve already made it up to the top in less than forty minutes before more than once. Why stress out?

Actually, we (you, Brazilian Climber, me) should plan a “boring ass fireroad cardioclimb sub-40 to the top” ride sometime. I’ll bring my fatbike for extra pain; I’ve already done a sub-40 to the top on it once.

Sounds good LP ! I feel you need to do the challenges at least once a year to really say you can do them. Let's back up the truck and load up the whole 20/40 combo thingy before Thanksgiving ? Who's in ?
