    Hope Joaquin Miller Riders?

Just wondering - I'm usually a solo rider mostly due to limited schedule but wondering if there's any group that rides the JMP area on a regular basis? Thanks in advance.

There's all kinds of riders out there.....you're bound to run into a few of them, it all depends on what kind of rider you're looking for....XC, AM, or even some DH riders from time to time

I hear ya boss. I'm not sure how I classify my riding aside from definitely not DH lol. I usually will park in Montclair Village and ride up to the main entrance and make it up the new trail to the (sunset?) loop then ride that loop till it spits me out to a main road where I turn right down some steep terrain and end up at the bottom of a hill near a walk bridge then I end up at an opening (look out point?).

At any rate I ride a good 90 - 150 mins before I'm ready to take a nap. Not a hard core rider but I want to push it more and just got an HR monitor to help but figured I'd ask if there was a group out there taking in stragglers like me! Thx all.

I usually ride there weekend mornings when I can get away. My schedule means I don't really have a chance to plan ahead much, so I usually do the solo thing.

Ride from home, through Dimond, to Joaquin Miller, add some Redwood and/Chabot.

Not really much help to you, but you're not alone!

Is Dimond open again? I tried to ride up to JMP through there last year and it was closed near the overpass.

Still closed there, dammit. Or at least the signs are still up - I haven't double checked to be sure.

It's still better to jump in for the reduced version, at bridgeview off leimert than to ride pavement all the way to jmp though.
