J.P. "Bike Hater Extraordinaire" Quote from Marin IJ.

I don't usually like to put any energy into this dudes slanderous comments on articles in the IJ but this is just too much.

Quote from J.P.: "So....Chief Mike Giannini's clearing of manzanita and brush up there that caused a ruckus with Open Space was not such a bad idea after all. Check for young mountain bikers bearing fireworks for your likely culprits. http://www.marinij.com/opinion/ci_22802432/editorial-open-space-fuel-breaks-require-close-collaboration"

Next He'll start blaming mountain bikers for the housing conflict in Marin

"One thing we do know is that it was not fireworks," said Marin County Fire Battalion Chief Mike Giannini. "That's a good thing."

The extreme bike haters actually help bike access in the long run. I love it!

I occasionally find myself offended by the misinformation he spews from his typing hole. I wouldn't want an IJ reader, like say, my mom, or someone like her, who really knows nothing about the situation, to assume that J.P.'s facts are legitimate. Besides that, I think he is his own worst enemy. Some of his stuff actually makes me laugh. He is unshakable though. I gotta give him that. Very hard to ruffle his feathers online.
