    It's freaking hot!

I just got back from lunch. The heat weighed down on me like being squished between the butt cheeks of a sumo wrestler. It sucked. It's almost summer, I don't want to ride in this heat.

Did I mention it was hot?

I chickened out and went to the gym. I've only taken 4 days off from riding since the 15th, so I need to chill on the pedaling for a bit, at least to save some lungs and legs for Sunday.

haven't been out all day from my a/c office. Quick check says 96 degrees at Quicksilver an 90 at the gap.

That kind of crept up on us.

I just walked across campus and almost died of heat stroke. Where is my fog! Next time I am golf carting it!

Saw some nice eye candy and rode some fun trails. The 78F here in Santa Cruz (around 3pm) was just horrible. East Cliff was pretty nice....

Best thing about riding during the week, no risk of seeing Chum out pedaling in his Borat swimsuit....

The hairy herbal women stereotype of SC is something from the 80's. It's FAR from that nowadays.

It's nice in the mountains right now. Truckee stayed in the low 80s yesterday.

91 at our house in lafayette when i got home from work yesterday. i love this weather! went for a short ride in briones around 5pm, it was warm but pleasant. not a big ride as i took my big camera up with me to test out my new chest mount...lots of birds flying around on the termals, and i saw one big gopher snake.

Went riding last night at MP and it was perfect. Pleasanton Ridge will be the next stop to avoid the day time heat.

    This nearly killed me:

That ride seriously drained me. In places the temps felt to be in the mid-90s.

That would have killed a normal person. I somehow feel I need to start marathon training with Ethiopians.
