How to turn off pop up ad on i-phone while browsing mtbr forum?

Is it possible to turn it off? Everytime I load a forum, that KEEN shoes pop up floating ad block my access to the thread. On an i-phone it is so difficult to hit the close button. Also, it is causing my Safari to crash so frequently that it is chasing me away from looking at mtbr on the i-phone while at the gym anymore.

It crashed 4 times on me in the brief 15 minutes on the elliptical. Is this related to the floating pop up ad?

    Thanks for reporting.

We put a frequency cap for now or 3x.

That is a big money ad but it is annoying!

Android browser blocks this but. Only on MTBR I'm getting redirected to adking sites while just browsing threads. Some threads more then other. Worst part its overwrite current tab and no back function work to get you to the thread.
I used to run tubes like you are, but then I got thorn in my wheel.

doesnt matter how much money it is. say no to popups. they can make an ad which displays normally like everyone else, otherwise its not worth it to ruin the site experience

I'm glad someone brought this up. It took 2 days for me to stop using mtbr on my iphone. I'll have to look into tapatalk.

The tapatalk ui sometimes doesn't properly reflect read/unread threads, but other than that its nice. Could be settings or something, but again not a huge deal. It does cost a couple bucks, but so does XYZ coffee blah blah.

It drops you into the mobile site if you want to reply/post etc. I've just started doing this, and the mobile site is not half bad itself on iOS. Works for the form factor and use case.

Surprised Adblock Plus doesn’t exist for mobile platforms.

As a matter of principle, it makes no sense to have an app for something that's already on the phone (browser). I'm all for apps if they are useful and do something that is not already covered, but when it gets dumb redundant and you got hundreds of "apps" to do what you can do with a decent browser, it's just a waste of programming.

Tapatalk is so much easier to use than Safari for forum surfing. No ads. Zero.
Easy to read. Easy to post.
My big banana hands can not navigate forum buttons and features on Safari.
