There was always a clearing there... But semi-recently they made it much bigger.

They “large-en-ized” it early in 2012 or late 2011. Should be able to land a V-22 Osprey there now.

I figured it was making room for ancient rascal to build his hut up there. He should be handing out beers to those of us that decide to ride up there and keep him company.

It used to be a really good spot to stash beers for extra motivation to ride kennedy on a regular basis. Then they made room for the whole sierra club to have a pot luck.

So they’re the f^#kers who drank our beer stash? I’d put some thought into relocating the beer stash, but I think I would make it more of a challenge to get to—perhaps requiring hammering up the Three Båstard Brothers or up Powerpoles to get to it (wanna play? gotta pay!).

Speaking of which, there was a pretty big group of hikers at the top of Kennedy yesterday. Anyhow, I did my annual duty. Now, I'm good for another year without climbing that fireroad.

You want to be my SS huckleberry @ Kennedy ... I know. Hope your back is all healed up and that SS is ready? There will be a brew waiting for you when we hit it ! The only one I have is 3 years old and had to be rescued from the stash from the first years dogmeat challenge. It belongs to Josh. Name: 0128130924.jpg

Haha, Beavers can smell beer in the woods from 10 miles away. Your stash was doomed from the start.

Isn't that the new pad for the Kennedy Heli-shuttle service?!

(why pedal when you can fly)

    Kind of...

It's actually for the helicopters to haul up the cable and tower building equipment for the lift cars that are going to run from the trail head to the top....

    The proper term is "embiggened."

Please use cromulent words, rather than your ridiculous fabricated bollocks.
