    Gawdamn Cardio Geezers!

Climbing Stile Ranch today at STCP. Let an old guy go by on flat pedals with reflectors. Never could catch him. I resisted the chase, "Hey, half pace... you got Sea Otter this weekend..." but he putted up that hill like a goat. Even if I would've stepped on it, it probably would've just gotten worse (for me; better for him).

To hell with you, Cardio Geezers. My self esteem is low enough.

Damn kids! No respect for your elders. Back in my day we rode 20 miles to school and back, in the snow, up hill both ways on a SS 20in Schwinn with a banana seat. We weren't driven to school in an SUV by our Mommies like you kids. We earned our cardio!

STCP is pretty good. A bit rutted on the lower parts of Rocky Ridge from guys riding in the mud that has now dried.

Some horse took a poop on Rocky Ridge near the tree. Disgusting.

Thanks IAH. I have to admit I've often wondered if hikers took a dump in the middle of the trail if they would expect equestrians to "just deal with it" like all other trail users have to do w/ horse crap.

Will be out there this weekend

Man I have taken some of the best off trail poops in my life and hate seeing horse crap on the trails, sounds like it is a pretty universal problem for everyone, I have been tempted to take a dump right by the horse trailers and see how they like it.

I climbed RR today and cleared the stairs. I think I have that section nailed. It's the stuff 50 yards ahead.

It's slippery now since its so dry. Get those tire pressures dialed!

Stud muffin sounds like something you'd find on the trails left by equestrians.

OK Dion.... I see your story and raise it by 3 ! Two weeks ago I was along for the LP and Brazilian climber "drop everyone show" ride and those two took off and left me with lilysdad who destroyed me/geezer dude on his single speed. I got whooped by young and old/ss'er on that day. I did feel better catching/dropping some "evil gearies" the next weekend though !

The way I see it, one of you can pull me up Kennedy in a trailer and that will top it all.

I'll be sure to bring lots of coffee, coffee cakes, and danishes to snack on for the ride.
