Friends of China Camp's Public Forum April 2 in San Rafael

Alright you clowns, time to step up. Start making your torches and get your pitchforks and

We need to show up here and be seen and heard. 30 minutes of Public Comment? I take that long just to get the pipes loose.

Public Forum: China Camp State Park Operations and Initiatives
    April 2: 6:30-8:30 pm
Tamalpais Room, San Rafael Corporate Center, 750 Lindaro St.

The Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) invites you to a China Camp informational meeting – learn and ask questions about our beloved local park.

In 2012, a successful community fund-raising effort led by the non-profit Friends of China Camp (FOCC) kept China Camp State Park from being closed due to State budget cuts. Now, as park operator, FOCC has contracted with California State Parks (CSP) to provide personnel at the park, and the two organizations are actively working to improve and protect park resources, including its multi-use trails and sensitive habitats.

Mountain bikers, the largest group of China Camp trail users, are keenly interested in the park’s management. With a new trail fee/pass program, trail repairs, and other initiatives underway, MCBC joins FOCC in inviting cyclists, equestrians, hikers, runners and other park friends to hear about how the park is operated, current and future plans for the park, and to ask questions and provide thoughts and input.

    Questions? Please email

Please attend this initial public forum – all are welcome!

Yeah, we need to be civilized and present clear, concise information so no torches. We could still do the Winterland Lighter thing though. Or... for the rest of you who aren't just old hippies...crank-up the brightness on your phones.
