*80-85mm of travel
*alloy steer tube > 7.25" long
*air or coil, but not more than one Shrader valve per leg (no dual air forks please)
*reliable (think bomber or???)
*in good working order (I can change the oil if that's all that's needed)
*with or without brake posts okay
*And of course, it needs to be neutral in color: Black or silver (I know, I know...)


Or if you have a travel reduction kit that will fit a 2003 mx Comp, I can certainly go that way.

Old 12 speed 52cm steel roadie that I inherited from fellow MTBR member with downtube shifters. Bike has been cleaned up (mostly) and tuned up. Rear hub could use a lot of TLC. Also got a set of tubular Mavic wheels from 80s in mint condition. I don't ride road so might as well go to a home that wants it. Would make a decent commuter.
