Folsom Prison: Race Behind Bars May 15 - reg is open

The Race Behind Bars...preferably carbon bars, not steel bars ;-) is a new annual race held on the Folsom Prison grounds and staged out of the Folsom Rodeo arena. On-line registration is now open.

Yes, we have held races there before, but this race is stand alone and not involved with any other race or Series. It will also be on yet a newer course... we have added two more sections of flume trail (great single track, but room enough for passing) and improved the creek crossings.

The race will include a pro class with cash awards. Top three in each class will be awarded "medals". Pre-registered entries will receive t-shirts.

This is a most excellent course that includes fire/levee roads, single track, technical, three creek/bridge crossings and plenty of climbing and descents... all through awesome oak woodlands. For a course map, photos and videos go here: http://www.racebehindbars.com/CourseMap.htm

For the latest info, videos and photos of the course check out the website: www.racebehindbars.com

    See you there!

One lap is 5.5 miles with about 525 feet of climbing.

Beginners do 2 laps, Sport 3 laps, Expert 4 laps, Pro 5 laps (they will earn their prize money!)

    Cheers!
