Fat Bottomed Girl will be riding today. . . mm hmm

Here's a totally different kind of ride offering: Ride with me! We can hum Queen songs and have a good time being slow in our size XL shorts.

The sad state of my knees has led to the even sadder state of my rear-end. Oh, my how excessively large it's become! Wow.

I've decided I'm going to ride as frequently as I can manage this year, and I'm looking for a few ride partners. This means people who like to ride slow and rest often, but still get out there and sample some of the best trails. Beginners are OK and welcome to join me.

So, if you or a friend of yours would like to ride with me, send me a note at

    patty AT ecocyclist.org

Tomorrow, it's Waterdog, starting from Passion Trail Bikes in Belmont at 6pm.

Glad to see you getting back on the bike! Hope that you don't have to ride with too much pain.

Let me know of future rides. Probably be good for Sylvia to join you for a ride or two. And if you felt up to imparting some wisdom, she could definitely use some pointers on how to ride.

    You too? Must be contagious!

If I can plan my rides more than 24 hours in advance, I'll let you know!

SpecRider96, my wife has been off the bike for a while and she's looking to do more riding during the week. We live in the Westside of Santa Cruz and usually head up to Wilder, UC or Delaveaga. We know quite a few mountain biking mothers in the area who are interested in group rides.

Perhaps you can contact me at mark AT mbosc DOT org so that we can put them in touch.
