yes, it is just an approved access issue. get your stakeholder group formed, get a seat at the table, and work for access. i am happy to share trails with user groups that the trails can accommodate. but all the disingenuous nonsense and free-riding on access of other distinct groups is nonsense and the main reason it stirs up such a debate here. lazy is as lazy does, or stupid is as stupid does...whichever is applicable to the "it's just a mountain bike nonsense" should expect a healthy opposing view on a mountain bike site.

E bikes are so last year. You guys need to catch up, get some upgrades. The rest of the mountain bike world has already gone past F and G bikes, and now using H bikes.

The tentative release date for the new I Bikes (joint venture with Apple) is November.

Holy crap, what a terrible thing to do to a perfectly good Santa Cruz! If I was SC, I'd hunt him down and take it away to keep the integrity and honor of my product intact.

I saw a Ebike climbing out of Demo last month.

I promptly called him a cheater. Worse yet, he did not offer me a tow out.

If you're going to cheat, drag your buddies along.....
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.

Totally different case in Downieville compared to Demo, Downieville trails are all mixed use, so ebikes (MOTORCYCLES) are allowed, in Demo, motorized vehicles such as ebikes are not allowed, get them the f*uck out of there.

    Ebikes are nothing like motorcycles.

Saw an ebike when running today at Waterdog. Only noticed because I looked. Nothing like a motorcycle at all, one needs to be blind and deaf to confuse it.

Some might be poaching. Some like me call ahead and get legal ADA access with our ebikes (with placard in backpack).

Be careful with those hateful assumptions.

No hateful assumptions, a motor is a motor and the stipulations of the donation of the land for Nisene Marks and Demo explicitly state no motorized vehicles allowed. If you do it right and have you placard and call ahead with ADA access, that is fine, but for everyone else who are trying to blur the lines with 'pedal assist' and such, I go back to what I posted earlier, get them the f*ck out of the park.
