Demo Forest Dead Giveaway Ride on May 11, 9am.

Ok, looks like I have the rally bike for one more weekend so I'd like to take it again to Demo Forest tomorrow, Saturday for the dead giveaway ride.

9am sharpie. Three laps or two or one. Just as long as you bring food and drink for the end, it's all mountain good.

I may see you guys out there. I am riding to demo from Aptos through Nisene with my team. I think the plan is to ride last years SC super enduro route. Going to be fun and painful!

ok, locked and loaded. The Bend Confidential crew is coming.

If you have any doubts about making this ride, don't. What could possibly be better than a rally ride on the day before Mother's day. Cause you know you shouldn't be riding on MDay.

Needing a mental health break after spending Friday bedside with my bud that within a couple hours went from full of life to a brain dead quadrapedic after a massive stroke, got a bit of a late start and tried to catch you guys. Got as far as about 10 peddle stokes on Bacon when one of my chain-stays snapped. Fortunately it was mostly rid-able and was able to coast mostly downhill back to the pavement and parking lot.

Riding back for a long ways was this massive lady bug swarm, I was covered head to toe with them by the time I got back, kinda crazy. Overall a pretty shitty weekend for me, looks like a lot of fun was had despite the flesh wounds.

My deepest sympathies to all concerned Jeff. I hope you find solace in the days ahead.

As for the Ellsworth, you're obviously rocking their new model....... wait for it....... "The Half Truth" .

Thanks for the smile JMS :-) BTW were you out there on a cycle-cross bike yesterday? though I might have seen you while nursing the bike back home, took a couple minutes before it registered that it might have been you though.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, there's no recovery he passed away yesterday.

FC, have you ever ridden a frame for over a month;-)

I'm actually pretty impressed this frame lasted 6 years, after being replaced for free after the original frame broke after 4 years, so 10 years of service for an original 2k investment taint to bad. Granted its not the only bike in the stable but it got ridden at least once a week if not more.

    Has anyone seen my shoes?

    Hi all

I was wondering if by any chance anybody noticed a pair of grey Specialized shoes size 9 left behind after this ride - I changed my shoes after the ride and was hanging out for a while and I think i may have left them behind. If so, I would really appreciate a response, PM, or whatever.

    Thanks a lot!
