    Damn! Ten whole years today!

…and I still don’t want to murder her! Marriage is great, yes? Actually cracked a bottle of champagne (not methode de champan-“waaah”) tonight. Freakin’ milestone. If any of you ever knew me when I was younger you’d be surprised I’m still hanging around*. LOL!

    * OK, explanation: I was never known in my younger years as someone committed to commitment—I’d never even been on a committee before. This must mean I am getting older and finally slowing down. No more player boy.

This made me laugh and reminds me of a G n R song:

    I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Mm, yeah
But I had to kill her
I had to put her six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

Not sure Halmark make a card that says, "Hey, thanks for staying together because a wedding is a lot more fun than helping you move into a tiny apartment." All I can say is that your wife, whom I have met, has the tolerance of an angel! Seriously, congrats dude.

    Congrats!
Life is funny, seems you don't end up where you think you will as a younger person. But then you (hopfully) find a lot of happiness where you didn't expect it.
Having a good partner in life is beyond value.

Brett that's fantastic! Do you have any tips for the rest of us?

Coincidentally, my girl friend and I are celebrating our third today.

My wife and I celebrated our 32nd last June. Which is only part of the story. We met as juniors in HS in St. Louis. Moved in together when we were 21. Basically we've been together 45 years !! Yeah we're old..both 59.

Congrats and many, many more! It's sometimes harder for some to see the big picture when you're younger but the older you get the more you cherish it. I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Here we are last summer in Big Sur.
