Confirm Emma MCcrary trail enters into UCSC trails.

    Hi,

I have been researching rides around Santa Cruz. It sounds like you can park at the southern end of the Emma McCrary Trail and then ride it up into the trails behine UCSC. Is this correct? Here is a map of the area above UCSC. http://maps.ucsc.edu/sites/default/f...mpus%20Map.pdf If it does connect, where is the connection?

    Thanks.
    So Cal Rod

There is a singletrack climb called U-Con that meets up with UCSC fire roads at the bottom right corner of the map where you see an "A". It is a ~1 mile climb from the Rincon fire road. Emma McCrary takes you to the Rincon fire road. When you get to the end of Emma, you cross the fire road to U-Con. Ride up and you are at Fuel Bread Rd which will take you to Chinquapin Rd. Chinqapin will take you all the way through the UCSC property to Wilder Ranch "E".
