New question here. Checked FAQ - No Info - How to Embed YouTube Video?

    Hi Folks,

I'd appreciate an education regarding how to embed YouTube video or a Strava ride? I promise I looked and searched the FAQs on this site but my efforts were to no avail. Both Strava and YouTube provide the code to embed but it doesn't work when I copy it into a Mtbr.com thread.

Here is an example of the YouTube code they give me to embed (I added some spaces to the code so it didn't turn it into a URL):

    http ://youtu.be/QL-0XEolCrc?t=8s] 20130101155251 - YouTube

I've tried wrapping the code with PHP tags as well as with CODE tags and neither of those solutions worked.

Thanks, in advance, for any help anyone can provide!

    Michael

    Hi Brewtality,

Thanks for the lightening quick reply!

I followed your instructions exactly and this is what I got:

I actually had been using the correct process all along. However, I expected to be able to see the finished embed video when I choose "Preview Post". Unfortunately it doesn't show up in the preview mode. Because I couldn't see it I never completed the post. Your instructions were exactly what I needed.

Thanks so much for your help!

    Michael
