Can't ride, bored, so I made this
Recently had some surgery to fix breathing problems in my nose and throat and I still have one more week off the bike. So I worked on a map. Still trying to figure out the best way to arrange/present this.

What does it say about me, when I live vicariously through Wherewolf, a person I have never met?
Since I don't like writing, I don't have a blog to pimp. This space for rent.

So, is Colorado next for this summer?
Faster is not always better, but it's always more fun

Yep

Yep, I need to get out some more. And off course I still haven't done that world famous Hogan ride.

Nice use of GoogleMaps, and integrating photo & gps links! It would be sweet if there was a way to overlay the routes into GoogleMaps... kinda like I've seen on mtbguru and even strava, so as you zoom in, you not only see the pin point, but the actual tracks on the map.
Nice job!

That is a fun map. I was off the bike all of 2012 with the exception of a few days, so I feel for you!
If you make it out to CO springs there are some really fun trails. Check out the CO board on mtbr and they'll hook you up. It is so fun to ride in other states!

Only segments?

It appears you can only map segments, not whole rides. Some of my rides have scores of segments. And I've done some of those rides scores of times.

If you only put in your rider ID and no segments IDs, it maps all of your rides.

Still a problem

I have hundreds of rides. And since I've done multiple rides on the same trails scores of times it will map all of them over each other. There should be a way to map individual activities, not segments. Then I could map just one ride at each location. And once generated can I only share a static screen shot, not interactively zoom into individual rides?
