Rode almost every trail in Auburn today. Mud here and there, with the worst being on FHDL. There was alot of hikers and 2 way bike traffic on the connector so use some caution on those blind corners. Weather was perfect
I did probably almost the same ride as fuenstock on Sunday. I was surprised at the amount of ice on the paved Clementine climb, in spite of temperatures warm enough to ride in a T-shirt and shorts (I started my ride shortly after 11 AM). There was some ice on Connector too.
I ran in to a cool group of riders at the Connector-FHDL trailhead, and we kept leap-frogging the whole loop until I reached the Connector trailhead again on the return trip. They were at the same place, and this time they took off for good.
I had my GoPro on my helmet as always, so they put on a show for the camera
Since I love climbing and suffering up hills, I also made a video of the two main climbs on Connector. As always this is 100% natural sound, so there is plenty of female cyclist heavy breathing on the climbs (probably NSFW ).
