    Anyone Have a 34..9 - 31.6 Seatpost Shim?

So I just picked up a Scott Scale 26 Hardtail to do some xc riding on. Unfortunately, they used a whacky seatpost size which is huge at 34.9". Carbon posts in that size are hard to come by so I'm trying to shim it down so I can use my 31.6" Easton Carbon post. Problem is I can't find ANYONE who has a shim for this weirdo size. I can order from Italy or UK but I was trying to avoid having to do that.

    Thanks in advance!

Got mine from chain reaction in the UK. Actually arrived pretty fast.

Did it end up being aluminum or plastic?

I have tried some metal (aluminum) tape for doing something similar.
Actually worked really well & it was easy.
I got it at lowes in the duct tape area.

I've had good luck in the past with a budweiser can and some JB weld.

Iv'e also had good luck using a beer can as seatpost shim. This was going from 31.6 seat tube to 30.9 seat post, which is only .7mm worth of spacer. Not sure how it would work for you since you need 3.3mm worth of spacer.
