Event price includes trail use of course? No need to purchase a day-use pass? Parking is the usual? Free along the road, pay to park in lots?

I just confirmed the answer with FOCC. Yes, our fee to rent Miwok Meadow includes use of the trails. They would, however, appreciate regular riders of China Camp purchase a yearly pass given they get no financial help from the state. So, no day pass required and yes, park along the road.

I had so much fun at this last year and really wanted to go this year, but when I looked up the date I saw that it conflicted with a race weekend.
    Bummer. Maybe next year.

Vernon - regarding camping, is it tents only or would a small fiberglass camping trailer be allowed? ~12 ft.

I went last year and there seemed to be a lot of demos. Am I safe not bringing my bike and just riding demos?

I would say yes, you may not get to demo your dream bike but you can definitely get a great bike. Come early though to be safe.

Last time I was able to make it out to Ales & Trails (several years ago) they gave you a commemorative pint glass to have your beer pours in...any chance they are doing something similar this year?

Looking forward to the event nonetheless...got my ticket and have my two brother-in-laws and a couple of friends going.

Come enjoy some Cellarmaker brews out of these sexy glasses on Saturday! High quality beecher pint glass and unlimited beer to go in it included with your admission price.

Goes without saying but I'll say it anyways, please drink responsibly.

    Hope to see you there!

    Cheers!

    You mean Gose without saying.

Another question: are they going to have secure bike parking at the event?

They have in the past but I have never used it. Feels pretty safe, not a lot of ways in and out and pretty small venue. You can bring your bike all over the whole thing and keep in in sight

There are a shocking amount of bike related activities this weekend. Looking forward to digging / riding on Friday and hopefully demoing a bike on Saturday.

Good time, good food, good vibe, great crowd. Thank you big time to REI for setting up the camp-chair lounge.
