I remember last year trying to be all studly and attempting to no dab my 40lb Bullit...I failed both in the attempt and in getting my left lung back in its socket.
Peanut butter Tuesday, if you know what I mean!

Hm.. I am busy rebuilding my Nicolai (got a 170mm coil fork for it) thinking it will be easier to ride it up with larger tires and a granny ring, going even slower than my usual snail pace... I wonder if that is a correct assumption. But it is in lower 30lb range (but no silly lockouts).

Please add me to the list. Damp, tacky dirt almost makes it easy. Almost.

I chickened out this AM -- temps of 33F here in SCruz @ 6:30am just made the whole idea of riding up there unappealing.
Tempted to do so in the morning tomorrow (7ish) or Saturday AM (weather permitting). I'll be pretty damn slow though since I haven't been riding a lot.
Suffering is good though.

Dang dude, that's a big ole ride to boot! Nice work and don't be humble...it's still steep as all heck and never a gimme. I got a real pro perhaps helping with shirt design so stoked about that! Congrats!

Twice is nice.
#2 for lilysdad and me today-- and I got to witness Mr. Porkstacker clear it on the Orange Fatbike!

3 in a row LP leads the way
Happy to be there to witness first LP then Marco then lilysdad make it one after another. Extra points for LP ... doing it on the "Orange Tractor" ... congrats to all. That ride kicked my arse!

I couldn’t believe how “easy” it was on the fatbike. Seriously, it should have been impossible, as the wheels/tires/hubs/spokes/tubes have a combined weight of more than 16 pounds. The tires hooked up amazingly, such that I pretty much just rode straight up the middle, without keeping to the “clean” side on the left. I think today it was 90% bike and 10% rider.

Yes, yes I do. Although victory beer is nice, but I heard the t-shirts are getting sort of a professional touch to them though.

I only did Kennedy up and back today w/ the wife, but I was amazed how sticky things were. Actually, if anything, the climb up was a bit more effort for super sticky.
Descending was fun

Well, I thought my brother and I did Dogmeat and I guess we didn't.

Please sir add a (X2) by my name! This was the easiest time I have ever gone up dogmeat. Never once got in trouble and even though my HR was high, I felt pretty darn good! Porkstacker and Tosa cleared it too. Mboldt almost made it on the 1X10 bike after a huge month of climbing and 7th consecutive day of riding. Well done.
They never made the "Slowster"

Conditions should be ripe to nail this one down...who's next? Jdub? Francois? Bassn? Kmax? Isn't Lilysdad going to do this with his feet tied to his peddle like in Breaking Away? PMarshall on his road bike maybe? Somebody surprise me this weekend!

The Couch Bike has batteries doncha know!
I would definitely try the challenge with the Couch Bike but it's too wide to fit through the gates at the trail heads.

Thank you, sir, may I have another!

No, I still love beer better than clothing.
Thanks, it was seriously cooooooooold out there today—I ought have done this ride on Tuesday before this massive cold front washed in. Funny thing was that I got two 2nd fastest trophies (up Woods and up Dogmeat) yet it seemed like I was going really slow. Ice was on the ground, and I could see some snow at the base of the big box up on the hill at Umunhum. I can finally feel my toes now, they were numb for most of the ride.

I looked at it today on GoogleEarth and then zoomed into ground level where I proceeded to no dab using the mouse all the way to the top. (I did have to zoom out a few times to keep perspective) but never once put my imaginary foot to the ground...
That's good? amiright amiright?
Oh forgot something. I was riding my Huffy Cheater Slick while doing the climb!

OK the third time is the charm: You can add me to the list again.
I took it easy up lower Priest Rock, recovered on the "flats" and kept some energy in store for the few really steep sections. Once I made it past the tree on the right, even though there's one more steep challenge ahead I knew it was in the bag. It was busy there and ran into Dirk, Marco, Brett and Greg. ElHombre met the Dogmeat challenge as well and can be added to the list.
Also known as Menso's dad.
