3 bikes stolen San Francisco Inner Sunset area

They stole them out of my garage in the middle of the night. I had an easily picked front lock. I think they must have saw me working on them, it's all they took. They even left a newish kids orange bike. I'll keep you update

    motobecane fly team ghetto 1x9.
giant ocr roadbike silver pink stripes.
Diamondback Response bike light blue hybrid bike with a rear wheel cargo rack.

I'll try to find better pics.

3 bikes stolen San Francisco Inner Sunset area

Friend had her bike stolen in the mission last night and she found it for sale at the Laney College flea market today in Oakland. She just took it back from the thugs who wanted $1200 for it (the low-ball price made her even more enraged!). Maybe worth a look there?

Sorry to hear this. I have had 3 ripped in SF over the last 10 years. Unfortunately the only way to avoid is to not leave bikes in garage......much to my wife's dismay. The amount of bikes stolen in this city is absurd.

I have read more and more of people having bikes stolen from peoples garage. At first I was thinking there was this elaborate ring of thieves that all communicated to each other on who had bikes to steal. However, the more and more I research my own incident, it is becoming increasingly clear to me that it's pretty much standard issue for any thief to target the garage. As long as there is nobody home, and there is a good, solid operation to pull the heist (like a spotter to keep an eye out), it's pretty easy to do.
Anyway OP. I'll chant the same thing to your situation as I did my own..

"I hope you OD on the drugs you bought with the money you made from my stolen bikes".
