    3,600 ft. Tahoe downhill

I'm not much of a downhiller, but yesterday Tahoetic introduced me to an 11 mile long downhill with over 3,600 ft. of descent.

    I'd like to know too.

My guess would be the top of Mt Rose to Washoe Lake.

Yeah I'd say that would be Freel Pass on the Rim Trail down through Armstrong/Corral. There's also that new trail (Sierra?) from the Rim north of Kingsbury down toward Genoa which has around 4000 vert, but lower elevation.

Oh, Steve, I remember you now. You're from Turlock. I'm From Pinecrest. I asked you once if you rode up this way ever, but you said no, because you couldn't find any info on the area. I thought wow, he's talking to someone who knows the trails like the back of his hand, but I guess he's not interested. Well, here's another invite if you only want to drive half as far to an area that has trails I consider equal if not better than South Shore, I'd be glad to take you on a ride. If you like Armstrong, Rim, Toads I'm sure I could put together a fun ride for you. Looks like you like those long big vertical rides with lots of granite-perfect!
