I posted this in the SRAM forum as well, but it doesn't seem to be as active as this forum, so I might get a better response here:
I'm new to the SRAM brakes. I've always had Shimano, but the S-works I just bought second hand came with XX brakes (2010).
I'm guessing it's a standard feature of the brakes, even though it doesn't really mention it anywhere in the manual. The levers have a "detent" in their correct position (just before they take up brake pressure), but they are under spring pressure and the detent doesn't hold them in position and they spring outwards about an inch until the lever touches the body and stops it going any further.
Is there an easy way to stop them doing this? It's very annoying. I just want them in the right position the whole time.
