    XTR V XT Disc brakes

I've tried the new XT brakes on a couple of friends bikes and am very impressed.
What i would like to know from people who have used both is, is there any difference in feel and power between XTR and XT. Many thanks.

    No difference.
Any difference in feel/performance -given that pads and rotors are the same-is more likely due to the particulars of the bleed on the brakes.

I haven't tried the XTRs yet - but the XTR caliper is a one piece unit, where the XTs are two pieces bolted together... in theory, the one piece design should be stronger and provide better braking power.

The main difference is in bragging rights...

...and yes, I'm able to brag.

    Go Bling!

Blindfolded I doubt if you will be able to feel a difference. Both are superb. I acquired the XTR cause I like the bling.
