    XTR M975 Disc Calipers

Anyone using the Post-Mount (Front) version with a regular brake adapter on the rear? Any issues? It seems like this might be a solution to difficult problem of caliper center with the typical shims. Thanks!

    Yes, you can do that.

There should not be a problem with the shims though. It takes a little more time for initial setup, but it's less likely to move out of position.

With either method, having the tabs faced is pretty important.

    And a follow-up . . . performance with an 8" rotor (front)? I'm currently running XT M765s.
