xtr m965 hose and lever ?

I have a 2009 giant anthem x3 that came with Shimano M486 brakes. I purchased an xtr m965 rear caliper and a Bontrager hose with connectors. The hose and caliper look like this. See picture. My brake lever now has the cable going straight in using a hose end that is straight and not a circle connector. What can I do to connect the bontrager hose to the m486?
At this time, one end of the new hose has the circle connector attached and the other end of the hose is open. The sent me the cable ends to put on myself. Do I need to purchase another brake lever or can I get this hose to work?

It will work. You need a barb, a compression fitting, and an inline compression nut. Any bike shop with a Shimano small parts kit can set you up.

I hope you have the o-rings and bolt for the banjo (circle) end.

You may be better off bringing it to a bike shop.

    BTI part #: SH-65524
    vendor part #: Y8H201000
    package: each
    description: inline compression nut
    model: Shimano (M8x.75 male)

    BTI part #: SH-65525
    vendor part #: Y8H298020
    package: each
    description: olive & barb-insert
    model: Shimano

Since when does Bontrager make hoses for Shimano brakes?

That's what I needed to see. Thanks!
I think I will bring it to a bike shop if I run into any issues.

I do have the bolts and o-rings. They came with the kit.

Weird, never seen that before. That's pretty cheap though!
