    XTR Brakes, what rotors?

Just ordered an XTR brake kit sans rotors and I'm wondering what the best and lightest rotors I can run on ISO standard disc hubs (Chris King) that work well with the XTR kit.

Also, anything special or quirky about the xtr brakes I should know about? The centerlock design on the xtr rotors is only compatible with XTR hubs, correct?

    Thank you!

You should be able to run just about "any" 6-bolt rotor with those hubs and XTR calipers. Since you're running C-K hubs, you have more choices. Do some searching to find one that fits within your weight specifications.

    Good luck!

I'm thinking Formula R1 rotors. Light and sexy.

    Thanks!

Yeah, those ARE hot! Personalize 'em...paint the "arms" to match or compliment other parts on your bike. Just be sure to post up photos when you're done.

I will be happy to. Will be about a month though. Frame is on order expected end of April.

Brakes and cranks will be here next week and I still need to order my headset BB and seatpost.

Should be a sweet build and sub 19 lbs.

    Can't hardly wait.
