XTR 988 lever, bleeding with syringe

    Hello,
Just received my XTR 988 trail brakes and I expect I'll need to shorten the hose when installing. I didn't buy their funnel kit and I was wodnering if the lever port was the usual size so that I could use a regular syringe for the funnel. Anybody know?

    Thx

Nobody knows if the port threads are standard and would work with an Avid/Formula kit?

I confirm it is a standard port so a syringe could be used instead of the funnel. An Avid bleed kit with the closing clamp would be an ideal replacement if you already have it.
