XT vs K-24 vs Elixir CR

Im considering one of thease brakes. Is the Elixir's modulation better than K24 ?
Im riding on the XT 160 in front - ( i borrow it from my wifes bike ) generaly the brake is good, modulation is ok but the power could be better (im going to install 180mm disc on the new brakes)

Im looking for the new front Hub also (DT240), do You think is it good to mix systems - CenterLock in front and 6 bolts on the rear(i have hub prepared for the disc brake DT 340)
Or to buy the same 6 bolt system hub on the front as on the rear?
I don't know if i will see the benefits of CL hub (stiffnes etc) - or only the faults of mixing different systems (caliper and disc)

My ride style is hard XC - FR

I would be gratefull for the info about brakes mentioned in title
    Regards.

The Elixir has fantastic modulation and power.

Do you have the XT with the servowave lever? Or the older XT?

I have the Formulas. They're a lot better than the Avid brakes I've used, but I haven't used the Elixirs.

The Formulas are definitely a lot lighter than the XTs, and probably lighter than the Elixirs as well, but I could be wrong. Stopping power on the Formulas is amazing.Their XC brakes are like downhill brakes.
