    XT "Trail" Levers??

I'm looking at picking up some XT brakes. It seems some of the cheaper items available have "trail" levers. Any idea what this is or how they are different from the standard lever?

I just ride XC and don't need any extra weight on my bike. Thanks!

Trail or Trekking are the two options.

Trail is sized for 1 finger braking, Trekking for 2 finger braking.

Here are some real world pics for comparison:

  5. Love my 5" trail bike in 26". Is 5" in a 29er too much?
