I got a screaming deal on a set of XTR 965 calipers with 6 bolt rotors.
Cambria has the XT levers M765 on sale for 100 bucks.
It appears that I will need a different banjo kit to put it all together?
According to the Shimano website, you can mix/match with the correct kit
"All Shimano hydraulic brake levers are designed to work with all Shimano hydraulic calipers. Keep in mind that there are different fittings for each. Make sure you use the appropriate Shimano brake line and fittings for the lever/caliper combination on your mountain bike."
The questions of the day are:
Do I just need the straight banjo kit (shimano part # Y-8HO-98010) with a quantity of 2?
Will the hose that comes with the XT levers (SM-BH63) work with the XTR calipers and the above kit or do I need to just get some bulk hydro housing and then fit everything up again?
Thanks as always...you guys always have the answers.
