    Xt hose cutting

I need to shorten my 04 xt hose, after removing it, it seems like the olive is pretty much fixed, do I just cut it off and put a new one on? Also, can this be done without a re-bleed like the Hope Mini's?

You need to cut the hose, put a new olive and bleed the brake. There's no other way.

Undo the threaded nut, and then wiggle the hose while you pull on it, it comes off without too much hassle.
