XT disc pads - where to get'em?

Anybody know where to get the sintered metallic disc brake pads for my XT hydros? All I can find is those Aztec jobs.

I have the older-style XT brakes, where the housing is black not silver. Are the pads the same for the old and the new styles?

AND, has anybody tried the Aztec pads? I've heard that they're some kind of resin material and not as good as the metallic pads.

The old xt brakes use a different pad than the new ones. I like the old ones betterin terms of performance and feel. Many top dh guys run the old style ones as well. Try our semi metallic pads. I think you'll like them a lot. Some day riders will figure out that the OEM's sell pads that are not at the level of quality as many aftermarket brake specialist's pads. Most motorcyclists already know this. That's why they buy pads from us, Ferodo, SBS and EBC before they would ever touch an oem pad.- Galfer USA
