I am converting my Epic Pro to xt disc brakes and have purchased the levers and the brakes. The question is what type of hose to get: whether to get the precut or get the hose that can be cut to fit. I assume that I will have to purchase the related hardware with the cut-to-fit hose. Having built up numerous bikes, I am mechanically inclined but have never messed with disc brakes. Searching for info on the internet has been pretty spotty. Can someone give me a thumbnail description of the best (not necessarily the easiest) way to set up the brakes from a hose and hardward perpective? Any other helpful setup hints would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
