Will Hope mono 6 saw disks work with Formula T1 brakes?

I am thinking of upgrading my Avid Elixir R brakes to Formula T1. The think is that I recently bought 2 Hope Mono 6 Saw disks for front and rear for the Avids.
Will they fit with the T1 if I decide to make the upgrade?

There shouldn't be any problem, unless the Hope rotors are proprietary towards Hope calipers. You are using them on your Elixirs though correct? If so then I don't see why they wouldn't be suitable for the Formula's. You may need to fine tune the caliper mounting to get a better fit(adding/removing washers etc), rotors from different brands vary slightly even if the same claimed size. I am using Avid G3 rotors with my Formula T1's with no problems. One thing though, if they were not able to be used with the T1's I would not let that deter me from upgrading. I know the Hope rotors can be pricey but you can find some other rotors for cheap that would work with the T1's. My previous braking system was Elixirs as well, and now that I have Formula T1's I would not hesitate to do it again. And can definitely recommend that you do it as well, HUGE improvement. Imagine twice, maybe even 3 times the power but with the same easy to control modulation of the Elixirs. Those are my impressions atleast. I loved my Elixirs(upgraded from Hayes 9's), and when I got T1's they blew my mind.

    Thanks csermonet.
I previously had Avid G3 with my Elixir's too.
So you highly recommend the T1's? Some say that they need to be bleed a lot and staff. Is this correct or just BS? You just put them and forget about them?

If the Hope rotors don't work, the Avid G3 have worked great on my T1's. Mine have been trouble free. Apart from some user error, I made a mistake during a bleed that resulted in my needing to get new caliper piston seals. Totally my fault though and nothing to do with the T1. That being said, they can be a bit "finicky" to bleed. If you get a quality bleed with no air in the system, they will be set and forget for a LONG time. Are you getting them new? Used? What model year are they? Are they pre-bled? If you have to bleed them yourself, I suggest removing them from the bike like all the internet instructions say to do. It is not necessary, but makes the bleed process much easier and makes for a much better end result. Other than that, the T1 is amazing. Very powerful, very controllable power, and very maintenance free. Just don't rush the bleed process, if it takes 2, 3 hours to get the air out and bleed them correctly then do it. Take the time for a quality bleed and you won't have to do it again for another year+.

    Thanks again.
I found them used that came with a new bike and haven't been ridden a lot so I guess they will come pre-bled.
    They are 2013 model. T1s.

Thats good, that means they probably have the factory bleed which I would trust more than most shops and home mechanics. Also, the 2013's come stock with tool free reach adjustment and pad bite adjustment, upgrades that would cost ~$150USD if bought seperately. Sounds like a good deal. Mind me asking what you are going to pay for them?
