Will any hydraulic brake line do? ie, is hose brand-specific (Hygia SLP Disc)

Got Hygia SLPs for my 29er build but the provided rear cable is too short by about three inches. Will any hydraulic hose work (I have the appropriate olives and nuts) or is hydraulic hose brand-specific?

Hydro lines for bicycle disc brakes are standard. The only reason that you see "manufacturer specific" kits is the connecting hardware. barbs, olives, o rings, threading, and so forth are often manufacturer specific. But the lines are standard. Now you can run into some issues if the brake use an adjustable banjo type fitting at the caliper. But if I remember correctly the Hygia SLR's don't have them, so you should be fine with a standard line.
